Help Me Calm Down is designed to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Nothing personal. No accounts, no names, no email addresses, no IP-based identifiers, no analytics tracking, no cookies set by us.

Your sessions

Your breathing sessions run entirely in your browser or in the ChatGPT widget iframe. The pattern you choose, the cycle count, and the session duration are not transmitted to our server. We never see them.

What's stored on your device

The widget uses your browser's localStorage to remember your last pattern and cycle count, so re-opening it picks up where you left off. That data never leaves your device. You can clear it any time via your browser's site-data tools.

Cloudflare logs

This service runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare's standard request logs (which include IP and User-Agent for a short window) apply to all incoming traffic. We do not access or aggregate these logs for analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Third parties

We load fonts from Google Fonts. Their privacy policy applies to those font requests. No other third-party services are loaded by Help Me Calm Down.

Inside ChatGPT

When the widget is rendered inside ChatGPT, your conversation with ChatGPT is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy, not ours. We only receive the breathing pattern key and cycle count you select.

Children

Help Me Calm Down is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
